City of Orlando Proclamation of September as Fighting Hunger Month

IMPACT 4-H Community Garden

2020

The 4-H Community Garden is our IMPACT 4-H Club newest project, it is a favorite amongst many of the clubbers. The clubbers, their parents, and community members were blessed with Collards, tomatoes, okra, carrots, peppers, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, radishes, and lettuce, from the garden. Our first year garden project was a tremendous success.

IMPACT Summer Camp Youth Visit to Local fire station

June 9, 2019

IMPACT Summer Camp youth visit and tour local Fire Station 51.  Youth learned about the life of a fighter at the fire station, the various different equipment that fire fighters use to do their job, the many ways that firefighters impact their communities, and how they too can become a firefighter.

As part of their community service and recognition imitative the IMPACT 4-H Club members recognize and present an award and snacks to the fire fighters of Fire Station 51 for their outstanding service to the community.
