Bridging the Learning Gap
The achievement gap between advantaged and disadvantaged students widens over the summer and school breaks when school is not in session. IMPACT Youth Mentoring
Lead To Succeed
It is believed that students who meet regularly with their mentors are 52% less likely than their peers to skip a day of school and 37% less likely to skip a class. At The IMPACT Outreach Ministry of Central Florida Inc., we are committed in addressing this issue. Our Youth Mentoring Program incorporates high-quality, evidence-based mentoring strategies to youth who are 17 years or younger or completing their 12th grade year. IMPACT 4-H Club
Positive Youth Development
4-H is a national youth organization that empowers young people to face the challenges in their community and the world. IMPACT 4-H Club is a collaborative effort between The IMPACT Outreach Ministry of Central Florida Inc. and Orange County (Florida) 4-H. IMPACT Food Pantry
Fighting Hunger
A larger percentage of our community are food insecure than ever before. With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with the challenge of food insecurity. Our weekly Food Pantry and Grocery Alliance programs in partnership with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida are programs that we take very seriously, and our team along with our partners are working each and every day to make a positive impact. Mentoring guarantees people that there is someone who cares about them, assures them they are not alone in dealing with day-to-day challenges, and makes them feel like they matter, and can and will make it.
